Deltoid tuberosity, on the lateral surface of the shaft of the humerus

Action/Relevance

Anterior portion: flexes & internally rotates the armMiddle portion: abducts the armPosterior portion: extends & externally rotates the arm

Innervation

Axillary nerve (C5, 6)
