I've added a few cgMuscles around the neck and as you'll see from the avi, it makes a pretty big difference to the overall result.
ok,..muscles in the neck can get pretty well defined in people, so to add a little detail I've made some muscles to slide under and deform the skin when the head is rotated.

They were created as cgMuscles and have been linked to a chest dummy and a head dummy.
A cgSkin Deformer modifier was applied to the head mesh, and the muscles were added as deformer nodes.
A mesh select modifier as a stack selection enables the Ray Node Deformation to work on a specific region of the neck.
